Freedom Hospice was founded in 2008 to bring a holistic, consultative approach to hospice care. Over the past four years, one patient and family at a time, the Freedom Hospice Team has earned a reputation for outstanding patient and family care - while consistently surpassing clinical and administrative standards set by State and Federal regulators. Freedom Hospice top-tier performance was confirmed during a random January 2012 seven-day State survey of our operations. We received a "Perfect Score" from regulators - unheard-of in the healthcare business.

Every Teammate is empowered to go above and beyond for every patient to deliver in tangible, meaningful ways that make a difference in the quality of life. We take capable patients to art museums and the movies, on fishing and casino trips to name just a few. Our Teams at Freedom Hospice go above and beyond every day so that our patients live with dignity and contentment, to the best of their ability and ours and, so that our days end with No Regrets; -
Quality-of-Life Care
Not a change in clinical care per se, but a change in how we view what we do every day that in turn, has changed our culture and our mission. Typical hospice care is medically driven comfort care. Quality-of-Life Care enhances the psycho-social and personal elements of care to help our patients and their families live life to the fullest, in comfort and with dignity, for as long as life can be lived; -
One Staff
A program of collaborations and protocols that integrate Freedom Teams with healthcare facility teams more completely, so that the two teams act more like "One Staff." This is a game-changer in facility-based care, producing a notably more efficient care environment and greatly improved patient, family and caregiver satisfaction.
The Freedom story is being written every day. As a company and a service provider, we don't believe in the status quo. Rather, we believe that a continuous improvement philosophy (common in other businesses) is a key to improving patient care and outcomes, throughout healthcare.
